We are seeking a **Chief Go Developer **to helm the IAS Backend migration project within our **remote **team.

In the role of Chief Go Developer, your primary responsibility will be leading the design and implementation of the new IAS Backend. You will also orchestrate the transition from the old IAS Backend to the new one, while managing any necessary additional work on the old backend. Your proficiency in Golang, Cloud Platforms, and Google Cloud APIs will be crucial for the successful completion of this project.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading the design and development of the new IAS Backend to ensure it aligns with project requirements and company standards
- Developing the transition plan from the old IAS Backend to the new one, while maintaining service continuity for existing customers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for a seamless integration of the new IAS Backend into the company's ecosystem
- Implementing media processing solutions for the new IAS Backend, with an emphasis on video processing
- Ensuring the new IAS Backend is scalable and maintainable, with high-quality code and comprehensive documentation
- Mentoring and guiding junior developers within the team

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Software Developer, with a focus on Golang development
- At least 1 year of experience leading software development teams, showcasing exceptional leadership skills
- Proficiency in Cloud Platform development and invocation, especially with Google Cloud Platform and its APIs
- Proficiency in SQL and Database management
- Preferred experience with media processing, particularly with videos
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services such as GKE, Anthos Service Mesh (or Istio), Cloud Tasks, Cloud PubSub, Cloud Functions, and others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
