**The Role**

**The Senior Accounts Payable Assistant** will work initially on suppliers within the Americas entities (Colombia and US) reporting to UK AP Manager. It is a busy and varied role that will suit someone who is organized and forward thinking. The role will also need someone who can adapt and have input to the change and growth in the AP area. The role is based in Colombia, preferable in Medellin (alternance between home and Medellin office).

**Main Responsibilities**
- Invoice processing for multiple entities
- Managing the electronic billing platforms in Colombia
- Answering AP queries
- Aged creditor tasks
- Supplier reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Monthly cash reports
- Supplier set up bank verifications
- Credit card expenses & reconciliations
- Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager with the implementation of new processes
- Other Ad hoc work as initiated or required

**Required Skills**:

- Good English Level
- Ideally 3-4 years' experience in Accounts Payable role.
- Good IT skills. Broad experience in accounting ERP systems (Workday is a plus, Navision, Oracle, SAP)
- Able to use Excel to good level (basic formulas etc.)
- Ability to multitask and work in a busy, fast paced and challenging environment
- Ability to take initiative and a practical approach to problem solving
- Exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Desired - Degree in Public Accountancy (Colombian CPA certification).
