These engineers collaborate with PMs and UI/UX designers to create engaging interfaces, work with backend teams to integrate APIs, and employ best practices in memory management and performance optimization.

They also stay updated with the latest Android updates and features, continuously learning and adapting their skills. Additionally, they engage in code reviews, pair programming, and other collaborative practices to ensure high-quality app development.

Main responsibilities and duties
- Building new features and have a solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Making changes and shipping code to production continuously.
- Maintaining the existing codebase.
- Writing Unit Tests for existing and new features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Making sure the documentation of the project is accurate and helpful, manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and software engineering best practices.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Proficient use of English, both writing and speaking.
- Strong experience (at least 4 years) in Android development Jetpack Compose with Kotlin.
- Experience with Android development tools, libraries, and Google Architecture best practices.
- Experience working with Git version control, Unit testing, and Continuous Integration
- Experience in performance profiling with Instruments on Android Studio.
- Willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies.
- References from previous employers in written or spoken form may be required from previous employers.

**Nice To Have**
- Experience with an additional mobile framework (such as React Native, Flutter or iOS) is a plus.
- Experience working with Fastlane, Bitrise or any CI/CD tool.
- Experience working with Google Fit and Health Connect.
