**Purpose of the role**:
The Compliance Engineer Trainee role is focused on the consistent flow of current, accurate, and usable information
from the NCI platform Head and Managers to the project leads and vice-versa. The Compliance Engineer Trainee
concerns itself with oversight of the project portfolio assigned (active, pending, frozen, and recently completed).
Compliance Engineer Trainee is tasked with the timely collection and/or validation of status information from project
managers to support this essential activity.

The Compliance Engineer is tasked with collecting and updating projections of project timing and resource
allocations for the upcoming 6-month period to provide that capacity forecast. This data comes from both PMO
leadership (for pending and frozen projects) and the project managers (for active projects).

Capacity forecasting includes reconciliation of past resource allocations against realized capacity based on input
from project leaders and project teams.

**Job role and responsibilities**:

- Scope:

- Make reports and status of each project’s activities.
- Follow the best practices model to ensure the project qualities.
- Attendance at the internal operation and security controls compliance in NCI.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of the company’s compliance programs.
- Maintains quality service enforcing organization standards.
- Communicates and coordinates with stakeholders and other external partners.
- Ensures the accuracy and timely filing and maintenance of required documents and other regulatory

requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Strategy & Planning
- Reporting on status of existing projects.
- Forecasting future resource capacity.
- Attendance at various steering committee and PMO meetings, along with administrative support for

recordkeeping and follow-up with both attendees and non-attendees.
- Formal Education and certifications
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, technology, and/or project

management.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Knowledge and Experience
- Specific knowledge of Excel and various Project and Portfolio Management platform(s) required.
- Working technical knowledge of Technology project and IT environments.
- Spanish speaker (nice to have)
- Personal Attributes
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure high-paced environment and make sound

decisions.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and personnel / project management skills.
- Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and ability to present ideas in a user-friendly

language.
- Ability to write, present, and design technical documents.
- Able to conduct research into issues and products as required, and document outcomes.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Strong customer service orientation.

- Available to work in different time zones.
- Some afterhours work will be required to join online meetings with global team members
