Como **Senior Data Platform Engineer**, serás responsable de extender y optimizar nuestra implementación de OpenMetadata, crucial para gestionar y orquestar datos a gran escala. Este rol es perfecto para aquellos que buscan contribuir al desarrollo de herramientas que faciliten la gestión de datos, mejorando así la toma de decisiones en nuestras operaciones.

Te integrarás en un entorno de trabajo innovador donde desarrollarás características personalizadas y mejorarás la ingesta de metadatos. Trabajarás como parte de un equipo colaborativo, encargándote de la construcción de aplicaciones que no solo enriquecen la experiência del usuario, sino que también optimizan la infraestructura de datos.

**⚡️¿Qué harás en el día a día?**:

- Construir, depurar y mantener conectores personalizados para la ingestión de metadatos.
- Enriquecer la captura de linaje de datos y garantizar la fiabilidad del sistema.
- Manejar actualizaciones, copias de seguridad y realizar ajustes de rendimiento para garantizar la eficiencia de la plataforma.

**⚡️Si eres nuestro rockstar, debes tener**:

- +5 años de experiência ingeniería de datos, con experiência en gestión de metadatos (OpenMetadata).
- Dominio de orquestación de contenedores, preferiblemente ECS (AWS).
- Conocimiento en Apache Airflow y sistemas de bases de datos como RDS/OpenSearch.
- Fuertes habilidades en Python para desarrollo de conectores y API.
- Capacidad para transmitir ideas complejas de manera sencilla y trabajar en sinergia con otros ingenieros y equipos.
- Habilidad para abordar y resolver desafíos técnicos de manera efectiva.
