**Role Overview**

We are seeking an experienced **Azure Certified Cloud Engineer / Architect** to design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on **Microsoft Azure**. This role blends **hands-on engineering** with **leadership in cloud architecture**, supporting enterprise workloads, cloud migrations, and modernization initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and architect **Azure cloud solutions** aligned with business and technical requirements
- Build, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure using **Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)**:

- Lead cloud migrations from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure
- Architect and manage Azure services including:

- Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers
- Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Functions
- Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
- Implement **cloud security best practices** (IAM, RBAC, Key Vault, encryption, network security)
- Design **high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies**:

- Optimize cloud environments for **performance, reliability, and cost (FinOps)**:

- Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting using **Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights**:

- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Networking, and Application teams
- Support CI/CD pipelines and **DevOps / DevSecOps** workflows
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and standards
- Provide guidance and mentorship to cloud engineers (architect-level scope)

**Required Qualifications**
- **Azure certification (required)** — one or more of:

- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Azure Administrator Associate
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- 5+ years of experience in **cloud engineering or cloud architecture**:

- Strong hands-on experience with **Microsoft Azure**:

- Experience designing **enterprise-scale Azure architectures**:

- Proficiency in:

- Azure Networking (VNETs, VPN, ExpressRoute)
- Identity and Access Management (Azure AD, RBAC)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
- Experience with **Linux and/or Windows workloads**:

- Familiarity with **containerization** (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with **hybrid cloud environments**:

- Knowledge of **cloud security frameworks** (Zero Trust, NIST, CIS benchmarks)
- Experience with **Azure Landing Zones**:

- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience in regulated industries (Healthcare, Finance, Government)
- Additional certifications:

- Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Azure Network Engineer Associate
- TOGAF or cloud architecture training
