**About the job Provisioning Technician**:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for assisting field technicians in the provisioning of installation or services for existing and new customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answers calls from Field technicians to complete provision of services. (Installations and services visits)
- Responsible for documenting in detail the service provisioned in each ticket.
- Responsible for forwarding to the billing department completed tickets for their due process.
- Responsible for follow up and completion of the following work types:
- Service
- Installation
- Upgrade
- Remote Upgrade
- Removal / cancellation
- Remote Add On (VLANS, Static IP Address)
- Transfer Accounts
- Remotely assist and troubleshoot to determine service problems during a technical visit.
- Follows up tickets escalated to other departments such as and not limited to: RF, site work, network engineering; related to an open installation, or service ticket.
- Configure wide area network (WAN) or local area network (LAN) routers or related equipment.
- Configure and define parameters for installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), hubs, routers, switches, controllers, multiplexers, or related networking equipment.
- Configure wireless (WIFI) networking equipment.
- Other essential duties assigned as required by supervisor.
- Availability to work overtime if necessary.
- Availability for rotating shifts.
- Ability to work multiple tickets and calls at the same time.
