About the Company
We’re building a mínimalist meditation app with a focus on simplicity and impact. The MVP has already been launched, and now we’re expanding the team to take the product to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity to join early, shape critical backend and logic features, and work closely with the founder to scale the product in the wellness space.
Role Overview
This is a short-term, part-time freelance contract (~2-3 weeks) with the possibility of extension depending on project needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile features using React Native and Expo.
- Implement and manage backend services with Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Storage, Realtime).
- Integrate APIs and third-party services.
- Ensure high performance, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate directly with the founder and existing developer.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in mobile or backend development.
- Strong expertise in React Native (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Proven, hands-on experience with Supabase (Auth, Database, Storage).
- Proficiency with Expo (managed workflow, configuration, deployment).
- Experience with state management (Zustand).
- Solid understanding of Git workflows.
- Bonus: Experience building game logic or complex backend systems.
- Bonus: Working hours overlapping with EST (not a deal breaker).
