**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

A strategy-obsessed, problem-solving, and detail-loving** Data Engineer** with solid experience in the marketing technologies stack and demonstrate automation capabilities. The data engineer should be a data specialist with strong experience in the deployment and automation of data pipelines, data development, data cleansing, data warehousing, monitoring data processing systems, and dealing with large and various sets of structured and unstructured data. The data engineer will have experience with marketing concepts/requirements and translate them into functional specifications

**What you'll do**:

- Use concepts of object-oriented design, distributed computing, performance/scalability tuning, advanced data structures and algorithms to batch and real
- time stream analytics and data processing
- Creating automated services to ETL data into marketing platforms
- Becoming the expert in platform APIs
- Programming of business rules and marketing triggers
- Require solid experience in the marketing technologies stack and demonstrate automation capabilities by

**Who you are**:

- Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering or a related field; or equivalent related professional experience
- 5+ years of development experience particularly in using marketing acquisition technologies to deliver automation multiple channels and drive operational efficiencies
- Databases and query languages (SQL)
- AWS (serverless architecture/microservices)
- Python and Java or PHP
- Restful APIs (consuming and creating)
- Experience with Kafka as a streaming system
- Ability to take marketing concepts/requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Understanding of basic principles of data, how data is structured and organized, how it flows between systems
- Can Build and maintain data engineering pipeline/data product in production environments in cloud infrastructure
