**Job Purpose**

The Senior Test Automation Engineer will be part of a high-performance feature driven QA team responsible for building and testing complex e-commerce solutions. To achieve the best results in this role you should have a strong technical background combined with collaboration, communication, and mentorship skills to provide guidance and expertise throughout the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring the success of your team’s efforts.

**In this role you will get to**
- Develop an automated testing approach and test scripts based on requirements-related artifacts
- Work with projects’ leads in understanding business needs, defining technical issues, and proposing solutions
- Contribute to the development of automation testing approach, as well as design and/or platform architecture best practices
- Estimate Test Automation effort
- Ensure that test automation and/or QA-related project documentation and other artifacts of automated testing meet the agreed standards/guidelines and are kept up-to-date.
- Drive training standards for test automation engineers through collaboration with the engineering manager(s)
- Provide recommendations to Team Lead and/or Project Manager to improve Test Automation-related procedures, systems, and tools
- Provide automated testing coverage for assigned projects
- Support, educate, coach, onboard and help test automation engineers to come up with the best technical solutions

**Your skills and qualifications**
- 4+ years of experience in creating automated test case suites, automated test cases design and running
- Understanding Software Architecture and Design such as OOP and Design Patterns, UML
- Solid Java experience with Java SE, Java EE Web Services (REST), Guice, Json for Java, etc.
- Web technologies knowledge as HTML5, CSS, DOM, AJAX
- Solid experience with Selenium (WebDriver) architecture, patterns and approaches, Selenium Grid and Appium
- Solid experience with selector strategies (XPath, CSS selectors), frameworks (TestNG, jUnit), and build tools (Maven, Gradle)
- Knowledge of tools: IDEs, Jenkins, Chrome developer tools, Git, Code review tools, Jira, Confluence
- Experience in building automated testing/regression frameworks from scratch
- Experience with the estimation of test automation activities
- Excellent communication skills, as well as collaboration and mentoring skills
- English writing and speaking skills on Upper-Intermediate level or above
