Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join the IT group in Medellin.

This journey will lead to improve project outcomes, being able to leverage the digital twin, systems integration and interoperability, support for decision-making, autonomous execution, and integrated operations and performance centers.
- Investigate and respond to security alerts (antivirus, vulnerability scanners, SIEM, etc.)
- Assist the Service Desk with resolving trouble ticket escalations
- Help carry out formal projects aimed at strengthening corporate information protections
- Engage in deployments and integrations of business systems
- Investigate technical solutions to address security issues
- Remain abreast of relevant industry and technology developments and trends with a view to maintaining and enhancing organizational security
- Mentor staff to expand organizational cybersecurity awareness
- Take a proactive leadership approach in maintaining and improving corporate information security
- Effectively prioritize work activities in a multi-tasking environment
- Participate in out-of-working-hours maintenance activities and team meetings
**You bring to the role**:
- Fluent in English (both written and oral communication)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant full-time cyber security role
- Industry-recognized degree or certification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience appropriate for the functional duties
- Strong understanding of Microsoft network infrastructure technologies (e.g. Active Directory, NPS, ADCS, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies and hosted services (O365, Azure)
- General knowledge of networking, network services and protocols
- Understanding of cyber threat risk assessments, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and threat modelling would be an asset
- Proven experience in successfully supporting cyber operations in a business environment
**The following is considered an asset**:
- Strong understanding of non-technical aspects of information security
- Hands-on experience with network system administration and tools
- Hands-on experience with deploying and/or operating information security systems
- Working knowledge of cyber threat risk assessments, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and threat modelling
- Working experience in a corporate support role
- Working experience with technology administration
