English Teacher

**Description**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods including tests, projects, and presentations.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Provide individual and group instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and community events to support school initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Must be bilingual - Spanish / English
- Valid teaching certification or license in the relevant state or country.
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature.
- Demonstrated ability to develop lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with students of varied age groups and backgrounds.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cali, Valle del Cauca: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
