**Job Title: Junior Backend DeveloperCompany Overview**

Our integrated solution simplifies tasks such as handling payments, managing assignments and scoring, scheduling sessions, generating progress reports, and more. Catering to businesses of all sizes, TutorSpace eliminates the reliance on spreadsheets, external tools, and manual work, allowing educators to focus on delivering quality education. With cloud-based accessibility, seamless data integration, and comprehensive training, TutorSpace empowers tutoring businesses to enhance efficiency and productivity.

**Position Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Integrate Stripe payment integration into the platform to enable customers to bill their own clients directly.
- Implement automatic billing for TutorSpace customers.
- Collaborate on the implementation of numerous new features identified post the initial project.
- Address quality features and client feature requests throughout the development process.
- Utilize Python to implement edge functions within Firebase.
- Leverage JavaScript within the context of Node.js for development tasks.
- Work with and create REST Framework APIs, including creating, editing, and improving endpoints as necessary for new features.
- Utilize Google Cloud services for various aspects of development.
- Utilize Firebase for backend development tasks.
- Manage version control and collaboration using GitHub.
- Demonstrate an interest in EdTech and contribute to the development of educational technology solutions.
- Experience with Heroku for deployment tasks.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in Python for implementing edge functions within Firebase.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, particularly in the context of Node.js.
- Experience with REST Framework APIs, including creating, editing, and improving endpoints.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud services for backend development tasks.
- Experience with Firebase for backend development.
- Proficient with version control and collaboration tools, particularly GitHub.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in EdTech.
- Familiarity with Heroku for deployment tasks.

**Preferred Qualifications (Optional)**
- Prior experience integrating payment systems, preferably Stripe.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: From $82,905,000 per month
