Unilever is looking for a Safety and Environment (SHE) Head for the Andean Region, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela, responsible for leading the SHE strategy for all the region activities and meeting business needs. The main responsibilities are:
- Lead and influence SHE strategy in order to support Business in Andean Region (Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador) to be compliance with Occupational and Process Safety, Health and Environment standards, in accordance with Unilever and legal requirements.
- Be a safety culture catalytic disseminating ‘From Push to Pull’ concept with leadership and implementing best in class behavior tools to leadership.
- Lead connection of Unilever sustainability Living Plan, Global vision and strategy with all Business in the region and support a strong and sustainable foundation for SHE Management System and cascading of Unilever Policies.
- Be a talent / carrer catalyst including and leading D&I: livelihoods, inclusion and future of work.
- Develop digital transformation in SHE, aggregating value to future and preventable work, feasibility, and analytical data.
- Empower risk perception and analytical ability to keep preventable barriers in place and shield recurrences.
- Be a facilitator to standardize and homogenize SHE Strategy for LATAM, engaging and empowering SHE Professionals, Competent Person, Technical Authorities and Line Managers.
- Develop and improve SHE strategy in PDCA flow to sustain actions along the years, disseminating standards, capabilities and hard skills, in line with manufacturing excellence program.
- Keep SHE Programs and Governance updated and well communicate, to cover all necessities and provide visibility and validation to SHE agenda to right areas and leders. And guarantee rigor, rhythm and discipline with all lagging and leading KPIs.
- Support leadership decisions and prioritization regarding SHE agenda.
- Promote co-creation SHE toolbox to be simpler and clear in a way to accompany transformation and new business models in all areas.
- Be an enabler to people engagement and empowerment in SHE, through recognition and pride in belonging to SHE.
- Lead SHE transformation with toolbox innovation, best practices and market benchmarking to Unilever be at the forefront and excellence in SHE Program.

- Experience leading SHE/EHS area in several countries not only executing strategy but also designing it.
- Experience with SHE/EHS in factories and supply chain facilities.
