As a communications professional you bring your passion for creating engaging content for internal and external audiences to work each day and there is no better place to do that with than an iconic brand like Coca-Cola.
In this role you’ll be the mastermind behind leading an integrated approach to the development and implementation of our communications plans that advance awareness of the company’s business strategy and impact internally and externally.
You’ll work proactively to find stories that support an established company narrative with a focus on bringing to life innovation, sustainability, community involvement and total beverage portfolio stories in social and digital media. We’re looking for someone with a digital communications background with a quick and thoughtful approach and the ability to be cool under pressure.
**The main responsibility of the Brand Communication Manager is to lead - in conjunction with a network of people and functions at the OU** **and with the Center - the Company Brand’s communication strategy, driving reputation for our portfolio and Company. The critical tasks for** **the role are**:
- As part of the Category extended team and hand on hand with IMX develops strong strategies for Brand PR plans for major LA OU brand initiatives with a clear focus to promote and protect the company’s reputation with focus on: purpose, portfolio innovation, and social license with a variety of stakeholders: media, Key Opinion Leaders and Influencers, civil society, government, and communities.
- Together with the PACS communication network coordinates with global communications teams, bottling partners and other functions to ensure consistency of initiatives, experiences, and messaging. Oversees Brand communications by coordination with the operations in the implementation of the Brand PR plans. Coordinates with the Center global Brand PR initiative and helps the operation deploy them.
- Provides expert input to Marketing and Market campaigns/initiatives/pieces with PACS perspective, making sure that our brand strategies and core messages are in line with our corporate messages and with our Company’s purpose. In coordination with Marketing helps developing Marketing for good brand ESG/Sustainability strategy and accompany brands on delivering purposeful actions and communications.
**Technical Skills to be Developed**
- High networking and understanding & knowledge of the marketing and PACS function.
- Knowledge of the communication and marketing areas is required: Media, Influencers, Stakeholders. Creativity.
- Focus on Public Relations, earn communication.
- Crisis management and prevention.
- Sustainability communication People management experience - with one direct report.
**Required Motivational Skills**
- Self-Motivated, capable of working in multiple simultaneous projects. Oriented to deliver results.

**Communication Skills**
- Advanced written and oral communication skills (English and Spanish) applied in communication plans.
- This position will require focus on manage a strong relationship and communication with the internal teams: Marketing (Category, IMX, Frontline), PACS (Sustainability, Public Policy), Central (Brand Global Communication), Legal, SRA.
- Influence and perseverance is required to lead the Brand PR agenda to a successful execution. Build strong relationships to align zones / partners in the on-going PR agenda.
**Educational & Other Requirements**
- At least 5 years in fields as marketing, corporate communication, internal communication.
- Event organization
- Project management
- Crisis management.
- Sustainability
**Performance Impact/Influence**
- Deliver Brand PR strategies according to the E2E workflow in the categories, guide execution in zones, deliver brand PR results in terms of reach, engagement, interaction and ultimately reputation. Be a team player.
**Travel Requirements**:30**% primarily within OU
