**Purpose of the role**:
The data migration consultant is responsible for ensuring the integrity and consistency of the data in the different
stages that it undergoes in a project / migration process to and from information systems - Platforms. These stages
are Collection, extraction, processing, movement; ensuring that the information does not lose quality when it is
fragmented, avoiding errors and inconsistencies

**Job role and responsibilities**:

- Meet with internal/external clients and project managers to understand project information requirements and

needs.
- Participate in the project plan regarding data migration, data movement, data conversion considering the

possible risks and impacts.
- Identify areas for improvement in the Inchcape Internal Data Management process by detecting potential

errors.
- Identify the data conversion needs between the platforms involved, effectively achieving the movement of
- Be responsible in conjunction with the test team for testing the new system after the data migration process

with the aim of identifying points of failure, consistency errors and making the necessary adjustments/fixes.
- Develop and propose best data migration practices for current and future projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for data migration.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- 4+ years of experience as a solution architect, DBA, Database Engineer, or similar role required.
- Degree in Systems Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
- Experience in one or more data replication technologies.
- Experience in data migration tools such as Golden Gate, Attunity, HVR, Shareplex.
- Experience in one or more database tools Example: Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2, MongoDB,

Cassandra, Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Experiencie in data analytics.
- Ingles B2 the superior002E

- Attention to detail in order to evaluate the quality of the data and possible errors.
- Problem-solving skills under complex situations and under pressure.
- A methodological and logical approach to planning and organization.
- Clear communication skills with different team members.
- Excellent time management skills and achievement-oriented personality.
- Strong understanding in data protection and data governance.
