**Position Overview**:Our client, a rapidly growing home services company backed by private equity and headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, is looking for a **highly skilled Senior Accountant** to join their corporate finance team.This role is essential for overseeing full-cycle accounting operations and supporting the company’s continued growth through acquisitions and system integrations.
**Responsibilities**:
**Full-Cycle Accounting**
- Oversee general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Manage inventory accounting, fixed asset tracking, accruals, and related processes.
**Financial Reporting & Analysis**
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly and quarterly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of reports.
**Acquisitions & Integrations**
- Support accounting activities related to acquisitions, including purchase price allocations and financial consolidations.
- Assist with post-acquisition integrations and system transitions.
**Process Improvement & Systems**
- Support accounting system implementations and internal control enhancements.
- Standardize processes and ensure operational best practices.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- **4-7 years** of progressive accounting experience, ideally in PE-backed, multi-entity, or high-growth environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of **GAAP** and full-cycle accounting.
- Experience with **Sage Intacct** and **QuickBooks** (highly preferred).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
