**Join Our Team as a Medical Biller in Colombia**

We are expanding our team and looking for a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join us on-site in Barranquilla, Bogota, Bucaramanga, Cali, or Medellín. This role is perfect for someone with a CPB (Certified Professional Biller) certification who excels in both administrative and customer service functions related to medical billing.

**Location**: On-site in Barranquilla, Bogota, Bucaramanga, Cali, or Medellín
**Shift**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm EST

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Eligibility and Benefit Verification**: Ensure patient eligibility and benefits for upcoming visits.
- **Pre-Authorization**: Obtain and manage pre-authorizations for outpatient and inpatient services, coordinating with clinicians as needed.
- **Charge Entry**: Accurately enter medical charges electronically based on final diagnoses and procedures.
- **Claim Preparation**: Prepare and submit claims, tracking them through the billing process.
- **Follow-Up on Payments**: Monitor claims until payment is received, including managing collections if necessary.
- **Customer Service**: Address patient billing questions and resolve financial obligations.
- **Communication**: Maintain open communication with clients, families, and internal staff regarding billing matters.
- **Billing Standards Improvement**: Participate in efforts to improve billing and charge capture standards.
- **Denial Management**: Identify denial patterns, perform charge follow-up, submit supporting documents, and correct errors in insurance or demographic data.

**Qualifications**:

- CPB (Certified Professional Biller) certification preferred.
- Experience with various billing and collections systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to efficiently manage claim denials and collections.
