**About the Role**:
We're looking for a passionate and talented Data Analyst who wants to power Business Intelligence in a fast-growing tech startup. This person will become the expert on SmartHop's internal data and will directly report to the Head of Data Science. There is an enormous opportunity in front of us; come grow and succeed with our team

**Location**: Colombia or remote.

**Key responsibilities of this role will be**:

- Build workflows that clean and prepare the data for reporting
- Translate KPIs into code and keep up with fast-changing schemas
- Work with stakeholders to continuously improve data quality and gain a deep understanding of the KPIs that drive our business
- Promote data-driven decision making by providing simple, accessible tables and detailed documentation to stakeholders throughout the company
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, CS, Economics, etc.)
- 1-3 years of experience in an analytical, quantitative, or engineering role
- Proficiency in SQL
- Familiarity with semi-structured (JSON-formatted) data
- Organized and methodical with strong attention to detail
- The ability to analyze large data sets with comfort and confidence
- The willingness to always be a part of the solution by carving new paths
- The ability to earn trust by delivering high quality and timely results
- English
- Proficiency in Python (a plus)
- Familiarity with Snowflake (a plus)
