**Who We Are Seeking**
As a Senior Art Director at Left Field Labs, you’ll be responsible for working closely with Creative Directors and business stakeholders, developing concepts, and leading visual design efforts for a variety of consumer-facing websites, apps, and experiences used by millions of people on a daily basis.
You should be versatile and multifaceted, with a deep passion for solving problems with both creativity and an incredible eye for detail. You have a unique ability to connect the dots between client business objectives and creative expression. You have a team-oriented mentality and a healthy respect for the role your work plays in the broader integrated experience. You use your powers of creativity and love of storytelling to create incredible user experiences while keeping in mind the strategic objectives of the project.
**What You’ll Do**
- Lead visual design and artistic expressions across digital channels for assigned projects, including contributing by way of designing
- Directly support Creative Directors in creative concepting and ideation
- Persuasively and effectively present design work to peer, partners and clients
- Collaborate with our writers, developers and strategists to deliver digitally-native creative design ideas
- Directing photo shoots and visual products ensuring the quality of visual style and concept
- Assist and align with Producers in ensuring creative deadlines are met
- Work closely with developers to ensure the technical feasibility of projects
- Ensure the highest design quality and success of deliverables at time of launch
- Own and maintain a part of the internal LFL design process/program, supporting the organization as a whole
**What You’ll Need to be Successful**:
- 6+ years of visual interactive experience design for websites, apps and experiences
- Strong sense of visual style and functional elegance expressed through design work
- Ability to efficiently delegate work to Junior/Senior Designers
- Able and willing to provide training and guidance to Junior/Senior Designers
- Strong communication and presentation skills. Confident and professional as a Design Lead in a client-facing role
- Team player who creates opportunities for innovation and excellence
- Time management: ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines
- Deep understanding of digital design principles and current trends
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
- Strong knowledge of Google Products and experience including Slide and/or Keynote presentations
- Motion animation and prototyping experience (Invision, Principle, After Effects, Origami preferred)
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Very strong online portfolio showing examples of websites, mobile apps, logos/branding and working examples of those ideas in the execution
- An expert-level passion for design, with an eye for detail, style and efficiency. A good understanding of visual hierarchy and usability
- Proven experience crafting user flows, wireframes while working through a basic UX process
- Able to work independently in a deadline-sensitive and fast-paced environment
- Maintain high level of design quality and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and superb skill with typography, layout, and color to engage and direct audiences to action
