QA Automation Engineer

ServiceTitan is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our Web Team. The Web Team is responsible for our three flagship marketing websites

- Our websites are critical to the user journey, making this an extremely valuable and critical role within our overall pipeline generation program. If you love working with smart people in a rapid growth environment, this might be a great fit for you.

What you'll do:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for our marketing website using industry-standard tools and frameworks.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases and scenarios.- Execute automated and manual tests for mobile and desktop devices on Chrome and Safari browsers, and analyze their results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement.- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.- Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of automated testing processes.- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other agile development activities.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in QA automation and incorporate best practices into our testing strategy.- Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy and provide input on testing methodologies and tools.

What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an engineering field, or equivalent work experience.-
- Strong programming skills in Javascript or Typescript are required; exposure to any other languages, such as Python or Java, are a plus.- Hands-on experience or a strong knowledge of Cypress is required, experience with other automated testing tools and frameworks, including Playwright, Selenium, or Puppeteer, are a plus.- Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative and remote team environment.- Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.- Experience with manual and automated testing on Chrome and Safari browsers for mobile and desktop devices is a plus.
