Position: CCTV Network Engineer

Location: Bogota, Colombia

Employment type: Full-time

Work model: on-site

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network requirements for various projects
- Ensure network security protocols are in place and adhered to
- Perform regular network monitoring, testing, and optimization
- Assist in the planning and implementation of network upgrades and expansions
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members when needed

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proficient in English (C1), with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 5-7 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
- Understanding of network switching concepts (e.g., Ethernet, VLANs, and network redundancy techniques).
- Familiarity with secure network technologies and traffic management (e.g., VPNs, MPLS, QoS).
- Ability to analyze network traffic using tools like packet analyzers.
- Experience with logging and monitoring protocols.
- Knowledge of network security practices and technologies (e.g., encryption, firewalls, and DDoS mitigation).
- Proficiency in working with Unix/Linux-based systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and platforms.
- Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols and related technologies.
- Understanding of high-availability and network redundancy techniques.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
- Relevant industry certifications or equivalent training.
