SD Solutions is looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn **Junior Web Developer (WordPress)**to join our growing web development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about web development, open to mentorship, and ready to contribute to real-world projects in a WordPress multisite environment.
- **Company offers a hybrid format of work: (hybrid office visit - 3 days in the office/2 remote). The office is located in Edificio Select, Cra. 29c, El Poblado, Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia.**_

You will work closely with our Frontend Lead, who will guide and mentor you as you take on hands-on development tasks. Your contributions will enhance our website’s performance, user experience, and functionality. As you grow in this role, you’ll gain exposure to front and backend development, work with modern web technologies, and collaborate with a team that values innovation, efficiency, and high-quality code.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain our WordPress multisite environment, ensuring smooth functionality and performance.
- Implement UI components and style adjustments based on design specifications.
- Handle routine bug fixes, code optimizations, and small feature updates.
- Work with GraphQL and REST APIs to efficiently fetch and display data.
- Collaborate with designers, A/B Testing Analysts, and SEO marketers to implement new features and improvements.
- Test and troubleshoot across different browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews, learning sessions, and team discussions to foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

**Requirements**:

- Basic understanding of WordPress development, including themes, plugins, and multisite environments.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Exposure to REST APIs and/or GraphQL for data integration.
- Basic knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and take direction from mentors.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) for effective communication within the team.

**Advantages**:

- A basic understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility best practices is a plus.
- Experience with QA processes and tools (e.g., bug tracking and test case management) is a bonus.
