**THE ROLE**

**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**

SweatWorks, the leading technology company in the fitness industry, is hiring a Firmware Engineer in LATAM, fluent in written and spoken English and with full-time availability.

As a Firmware Engineer, you will support hardware product definition and quickly react to changing market and part availability conditions. You will work closely with our teams in China, Latin America, and the US, interacting with the hardware and testing team to deliver the product in time efficient and assigned timelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design functional modules according to requirements/specification.
- Integration & Software System testing / Debugging.
- Support for developing embedded software including documenting requirements, design and implementation.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Troubleshoot Firmware problems.
- Propose and validate Key Hardware components.
- Document Implemented solutions and Architectures.
- Perform hardware tests.
- BONUS: Design of the Electronics circuits and PCB.

**YOUR SKILLS**

**WHAT WE REQUIRE**
- Good in understanding, interfacing and debugging of hardware.
- Hands on experience in using, Emulators, debuggers, compilers, IDE- s, DSO, Multimeters etc.
- Knowledge in communication standards like I2C, USB, CAN, TCP/IP, SPI, RS232, RS422, TIA/EIA- 485-A, BLE, WIFI.
- Good knowledge in coding standards, SDLC methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience in C/C++
- Knowledge and experience in electronics circuits design.

Will be a plus:

- Written and spoken Mandarin
- Knowledge of Python, Javascript.
