How’ll you’ll contribute:
As a senior product analyst, you’ll be joining a team focused on helping our insurance customers evaluate the risk profiles of their policies with an advanced solution. Your role will be focused on ensuring customer success through the onboarding process.
- You will learn how to configure, test, and implement customer solution strategies.
- You will be accountable for ensuring the customers configurations adhere to their requirements.
- You will work with and learn from team members to understand more about the insurance industry and why our solutions are highly valued to solve for a critical gap that exists today.

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.

Technical Skills
- Prior career work configuring configure, validating, troubleshoot/debugging, and documenting aspects of a software system.
- Ability to “think” like a programmer; however, programming skills are not directly required.
- Existing knowledge or the demonstrated ability to learn concepts such as XML, JSON, Splunk, queries, batch concepts.
- Experience working in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Strong experience using Microsoft office products, in particular Word (layout), Excel (formulas and formatting), and One Note / Share Point.
- Use of tools such as notepad++, beyond compare, visual studio code editor
- Familiarity with concepts of servers and networks that make up system architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas and Macros
- Some VBA or Excel Power Query would be helpful
- Understand file transfer service concepts.
- Requires strong analytical and data analysis skills with the ability to communicate the outcomes of your analysis.

Professional Skills
- Strong written and verbal English skills, including the ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Highly collaborative and able to work under tight timelines when needed and the ability to take initiative and ownership of your work.
- Clear and confident presence on “teams”/”zoom” style calls with both TransUnion and TransUnion customer associates.
- Detail orientated and ability to stay highly organized and be flexible to changing priorities with limited supervision.
- Desire to understand how the insurance industry works and how TransUnion solutions make our customers successful.
- Ability to learn, repeat, and identify improvement to methodologies used in the group.
- Ability to communicate status of assigned work and forecast completion of assigned work.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of modern product management concepts and techniques, including Agile development methodologies
- P&C insurance knowledge or prior insurance work experience
- Proficient in Excel
- Basic understanding of Splunk

The role ensures that internal and external revenue generating opportunities are ready when the customer is ready. It involves:

- Interpreting written requirements and asking clarifying questions
- Configuring the systems that fulfill the requirements.
- Defining and generating test data and cases that validate the system meets the requirements.
- Executing the test cases.
- Correcting issues identified.
- Communicating project status.
- Supporting customers’ developers during their integrations with TransUnion to insure a successful and rapid integration.
- Using tools like XML, JSON, and splunk to debug issues in the configuration or presented by the programmers.
- Using tools like splunk and Excel to observe production activities.
- Communicating with US based internal and external stakeholders.

The Product Analyst fills a critical role in the product development life cycle, acting as a bridge between the product strategy and the delivery of a successful product or service. A successful product analyst will work within a defined product strategy and roadmap, breaking broadly defined initiatives into more concise functional components and documenting requirements and acceptance criteria. This may also entail conducting research, data analysis, and overall pr
