**What success looks like in this role**:

- Operate, monitor, and support hybrid infrastructure environments (cloud + on-prem).
- Respond to incidents, troubleshoot system and network issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure infrastructure health and performance.
- Support backup, recovery, patching, and disaster recovery operations across platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to implement operational best practices and maintain compliance.
- Optimize resource usage and cost across cloud and local infrastructure.
- Automate routine tasks and operational processes using scripting or configuration management tools.

**You will be successful in this role if you have**:

- Hands-on experience with public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Experience with monitoring & observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch).
- Understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, and security controls.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with ITIL and ITSM practices
- Basic/Moderate knowledge on containerization and orchestration
- SRE and DevOps methodology exposure
