**Job description**:As a SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and implementing changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO tactics and the ability to implement strategies that increase the ranking and visibility of our website. Our first product is The BetterGuard Ankle Brace. Using patented technology, this ankle brace prevents injury while not limiting performance. It fits almost any shoe, offering unprecedented protection and support for athletes and active individuals. Founded with a vision to reduce injury rates and improve the confidence of our users, we collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, top athletes, and sports organizations to develop products that are not only reactive to the demands of modern activities but proactive in preventing injuries. As a fast-growing company, we are expanding our team to continue pushing the boundaries of safety technology, aiming to make ankle injuries a thing of the past.
**Responsibilities**: Define the SEO strategy and tactics to improve site rankings and performance across multiple websites worldwide. Performing keyword research based on business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities. Implementing on-page SEO best practices, including site structure, meta-tags, structured data, and keyword optimization. Generating long-form and short-form SEO content, including copywriting and imagery. Monitoring and evaluating search results and search performance across major search channels. Developing website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords. Working with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code. Collaborating closely with global sales, public relations, social media, affiliate marketing, and performance marketing teams Developing content in coordination with SEO goals—general and keyword-specific. Managing and improving organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on click-through rates, traffic, and conversions. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, SEO updates, and algorithm changes. Manage and grow several global websites in multiple languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, etc. Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills: Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, a related field, or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of experience with SEO on Shopify e-commerce websites Extensive content creation skills, including copywriting, photo editing, video editing, and web design Naturally hard worker, not afraid to put in extra time and effort. Exceptional at “rolling up the sleeves” In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends). Experience with SEO tools such as SEMRush Proficiency with Ahrefs, Moz, and other non-Google products a plus Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms, not just Google, but also Bing, Duck-Duck-Go, and other platforms Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO Strong analytical skills and ability to understand, report, and act on data. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Proficiency with Adobe Suite Proficiency in Shopify, including a deep understanding of Shopify page architecture and proven experience in archetyping e-commerce websites built on the Shopify platform Multi-lingual copywriting a bonus.
