You'll get to experience projects from conception to completion and operation and will provide engineering inputs from initial assessment through to technical and economic feasibility, due diligence, construction monitoring, acceptance and operation monitoring.
You’ll also be reviewing and preparing technical and non-technical reports including specifications, proposals, designs, calculations and contracts. There will also be technical tender support, actively assisting with business development and client management.
- Supporting project managers and project principals as part of multi-disciplinary project teams
- Providing civil engineering technical input into projects at various stages (from feasibility to preliminary and detailed design, construction and operational stages)
- Undertake technical reviews of civil engineering design documentation and report on findings; including the review of drawings and studies prepared by third parties
- Undertake feasibility and concept level civil designs for renewable projects
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals and/or cost estimates for renewable energy projects

We work as an integrated, global network so you will get the chance to work alongside other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary project team giving you an understanding of projects from different technology perspectives. This means we look for engineers with genuine curiosity and a deep understanding of renewable energy projects.

We look to utilise the most relevant experts for the challenge of the project no matter where they are based in the world.
- degree in civil or structural engineering
- experience on conceptual design, FEED, feasibility studies, tender preparation
- CAD competences (preferred)
- experience of working in energy consultancy with proven extensive experience in energy projects. Having experience in wind or solar projects would be considered favourable.
- Have a keen interest in the rapidly changing energy sector
- Experience in owner’s engineer or detail engineering roles
- Ability to communicate clearly & concisely in English, both verbally & written and ability to explain technical issues to non-engineers, including Clients
- Ability to work effectively to deliver required outputs in a timely manner as part of a wider project team
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to work on numerous projects during the same period
