What will you do:
- Prepare reconciliations and journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of accounting systems
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of process documentation
- Regular communication with clients
- Learn to prepare sales tax & income tax returns
**Requirements**:
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication skills
- 6-10 years of prior experience in corporate accounting
- Ideally, significant experience in managing accounting processes for a large organization or a public accounting firm
- Real estate experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of accounting processes (AP, AR, Reconciliation, Sales taxes)
- Strong knowledge of VAT systems
- Most be highly motivated and dependable
- Reliable and fast Internet connection, with strong home computer
