**Principal Cloud Solutions Architect**
**Introduction**

Gorilla Logic is seeking an exceptionally talented and innovative Principal Solutions Architect specializing in modern cloud architecture to elevate our Solutions team. Composed of a diverse mix of multi-skilled Solutions Architects and Strategic Designers, our team operates at the intersection of technology and strategy. This role serves as a principal figure within Gorilla Logic's Solutions department and reports directly to the Vice President of Solutions.

**Role Overview**

As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of comprehensive systems architecture tailored to meet our clients' unique needs. Your responsibilities range from gathering client requirements and functional specifications to evaluating existing software systems for opportunities for improvement. You will also provide leadership and oversight to development teams. Each team member actively participates in technical pre-sales, high-level architecture and design, and solution development.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the development of cloud-based architecture strategies.
- Gather client requirements and create tailored solutions.
- Audit existing systems for improvements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Collaborate with sales teams on technical pre-sales.
- Oversee design and development phases.
- Client facing opportunity and proposal support.
- Ensure architecture complies with industry standards.
- Communicate project status to stakeholdersStay updated on advancements in cloud architecture.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field10+ years of experience in solutions architecture, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture.
- Proficiency in leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Strong understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- In-depth familiarity with DevOps practices and modern CI/CD pipelines, including automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code within cloud environments.
- Demonstrated client facing experience and skills to support sales activities.
- Cloud architecture certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable.
- Professional software development experience, particularly with Java,.Net, and modern JavaScript frameworks like Node, React, Angular, and/or Vue.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, suitable for both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong organizational and leadership skills, with the capacity to manage competing client demands, multiple priorities, commitments, and projects.
- Team player with the ability to objectively negotiate and appreciate different points of view.
