We are looking for a **BIM Specialist** to join our multi-disciplinary team in our Bogotá office. This role is at the forefront of digital production innovation, automation, and data accessibility. Within the Arup team, this role involves overall project planning, detailed design development, coordination between all disciplines, managing and adhering to BIM standards, and ensuring quality of digital deliverables.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Implementing new tools on the fly and training others to do the same.
- Understanding project deliverables, contractual requirements, and office/client BIM standards. Helping to develop/review project BIM execution plans. Ensuring any changes in procedure and standards are effectively incorporated on projects.
- Managing BIM project data sets, regularly reviewing BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards and requirements. Performing model management administration and maintenance.
- Directly collaborating with the engineering design teams to ensure design intent in the development of discipline BIM models. Coordinating the development of logically organized, easy to read accurate construction drawings from the discipline models.
- Setting up and running change management, code compliance, and interference checking procedures. Producing reports and models for VDR and CDR project meetings. Proactively communicating design coordination issues to the design team and helping to implement their resolution.
- Providing technical support and mentoring as required to the project team. Developing support material for use in training and onboarding sessions.
- Active involvement in the project delivery review process, reviewing drawings and generating reports to help review project discipline deliverables to ensure the overall design is coordinated, constructable, and satisfies each discipline’s delivery stage requirements.
- Managing incoming and outgoing project model and drawing information and maintaining an accurate copy of all deliverable content.
- At the project and regional BIM team level, actively practicing and supporting ongoing improvements to our automation tools, software, and standard methodology workflows. Documenting lessons learned and presenting methods and outcomes. Championing best practices in BIM project design and delivery processes.

**Qualifications**
- A minumum of 5 years' experience working in BIM within the engineering, architecture, and/or construction industry.
- Proficiency in a recognized BIM authoring platform - Revit, MicroStation, Tekla, or similar.
- Proficiency in a recognized Coordination platform or tool - Navisworks, BIM 360, Solibri, Revizto, or similar.
- Familiarity with recognized 2D/3D modelling platforms - Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Familiarity with programming, visual scripting, and automation tools - Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python, Clarity, or similar.
- The ability to organize and prioritize effectively and balance assigned work in our constantly evolving environment.
- Presentation skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and team collaboration skills essential for group-based working of all levels.
- Interest and passion for all aspects of the built environment and how design ideas become reality.
- **Bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish**
