**About Us**

**The Role**
We’re looking for a **Lead Full-Stack Developer** who knows how to harness **Claude Code, MCPs, and agentic workflows** to ship software quickly and securely—without sacrificing performance or scalability. This person will **own the build of a major new product**, lead technical direction, and eventually grow a team around them. Beyond technical excellence, we want someone who understands **business value** and can align architecture with outcomes.

**What You’ll Do**
- Lead the design and development of a **Next.js / Encore TypeScript** stack.
- Use **Claude Code + AI-native workflows** to accelerate secure, test-driven development.
- Build a **fast, scalable, secure** foundation (SOC2-ready, multi-tenant, low-latency).
- Translate product requirements into **lean, documented architecture**.
- Establish **best practices** for CI/CD, database migrations, monitoring, and observability.
- Collaborate with product and leadership to ensure **technical work drives business impact**.
- Mentor other developers as the team scales.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Strong full-stack experience (TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, APIs, cloud).
- Proven ability to build and scale apps with performance in mind (p95 under 1s is our baseline).
- Security-first mindset: RLS, encryption, patching, dependency hygiene.
- Experience leading builds from 0 → 1, preferably in **startup environments**.
- Excitement about **Claude Code, agents, MCPs, AI-native workflows**, and pushing the edge of what AI coding can deliver.
- Familiarity with **context engineering, spec-driven development, and AI-assisted test automation**.
- Business sense—can prioritize features, evaluate tradeoffs, and tie technical decisions to revenue, growth, or customer value.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
