**Position: Senior Software Engineer - Cloud expert**

**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Tackle complex challenges and drive creative solutions in ambiguous environments
- Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams, translating technical concepts clearly
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable API systems
- Maintain high-quality, well-tested code and promote continuous improvement
- Mentor junior team members and influence key architectural decisions
- Support legacy systems during migration to modern platforms
- Contribute to team growth via knowledge sharing and mentoring

**Required Qualifications**:

- 8+ years of software development experience
- Expertise in full-stack development, including frontend frameworks and databases
- Proficiency in Node.js and modern programming languages
- Experience with AWS services (Step Functions, Batch, Lambdas, ECS)
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform), CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Linux, ECS/Fargate)
- Experience in data engineering
- Solid foundation in Test-Driven Development
- Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience with DBT/Qlik Replication and Snowflake
- Knowledge of C#,.NET (Core & Framework), Angular, Groovy, Python, Shell Scripting
- Insurance or reinsurance industry experience
- Advanced knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Relevant professional certifications
