**About the job**:

- The Red Hat Technology Sales team is looking for a Senior Hybrid Cloud Specialist Solutions Architect with related experience and focus on cloud platforms and storage to join us in Bogotá, Colombia.In this role, you will work closely with account executives and account solutions architects to achieve emerging technology sales and revenue goals, evaluate technical requirements of new sales opportunities, and develop technical solutions that can successfully meet the needs of our prospective customers. You will promote our innovative cloud platform solutions, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, and Red Hat Ceph Storage. As a Senior Hybrid Cloud Specialist Solutions Architect, you'll need to have a combination of customer-facing skills and deep technical knowledge, since you will serve as a customer advocate within Red Hat to develop appropriate solutions and ensure that they are implemented in an innovative and reliable way.**What you will do**:
- Partner with sales specialists and account solutions architects and serve as a technical point of contact for customer opportunities-
- Ensure that revenue quota, deployment, and service objectives are met while maintaining a high level of satisfaction among our existing and prospective customers-
- Develop and implement cloud platform sales strategies to help ensure that Red Hat's objectives are met-
- Present Red Hat’s solutions and technical proposals to existing and prospective customers-
- Guide the gathering of architecture and design, as well as the presentation of solutions, to meet customer needs through workshops and other activities-
- Research and write the responses to technical sections of requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposal (RFPs)-
- Lead presales workshops, demonstrations, proofs of concepts, evaluations, and benchmarks Participate in trainings for our offerings and complete ongoing continuing education requirements to grow and enhance your skills-
- Attend internal meetings with the Engineering, Product Management, Ecosystem, Training, and other teams to provide information, presentations, demonstrations, or other crucial feedback for our offerings**What you will bring**:
- 5+ years of experience with Linux in the areas of system administration, integration, or development-
- Advanced knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform or other Kubernetes platforms-
- Experience with Red Hat OpenStack Platform and other KVM virtualization technologies, or a VMware Certified Professional (VCP) qualification-
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions-
- Knowledge of networking, storage, and complex software integration-
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; comfortable with giving presentations-
- Proficient in technology presales and customer-facing skills up to C-level executives-
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, following Red Hat’s COVID-19 guidelines- #LI-JR1
