An **HR Manager** (Human Resources Manager) leads and directs the human resources department, overseeing key functions like recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and legal compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that support organizational objectives.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Administer compensation, benefits, payroll, and leave programs.
- Design and oversee performance management systems, including appraisals, feedback, and development plans.
- Coordinate training and professional development programs to enhance employee skills and retention.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies; conduct audits and manage risk.
- Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement) to inform decisions and improve processes.
- Advise managers and executives on HR issues, such as staffing, strategic planning, and organizational change.
- Foster a positive company culture through employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (Master's or HR certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR preferred).
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HRIS systems) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.
