HR Manager

An **HR Manager** (Human Resources Manager) leads and directs the human resources department, overseeing key functions like recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and legal compliance. They align HR strategies with business goals, foster a positive workplace culture, and act as a bridge between management and employees.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that support organizational objectives.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Administer compensation, benefits, payroll, and leave programs.
- Design and oversee performance management systems, including appraisals, feedback, and development plans.
- Coordinate training and professional development programs to enhance employee skills and retention.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies; conduct audits and manage risk.
- Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement) to inform decisions and improve processes.
- Advise managers and executives on HR issues, such as staffing, strategic planning, and organizational change.
- Foster a positive company culture through employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (Master's or HR certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR preferred).
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HRIS systems) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.
