Panagora Group provides monitoring and evaluation services in the international development industry and currently implements the USAID/Colombia Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activity. The MEL activity provides technical and advisory services to USAID in the following components: (1) Monitoring; (2) Performance and Impact Assessments; (3) Research, Assessments, and Data Analysis; (4) Geographic Information Services (GIS) and (5) Collaboration, Learning, and Adaptation tasks (CLA).
USAID/Colombia requested that the MEL activity measure, monitor, and generate information on the potential effect of different conservation approaches that Amazon Alive Activity is developing in the Colombian Amazon region. The information collected will enable the creation of decision-making tools for the conservation management of biodiversity. The measurement for this study will be carried out in three geographic areas to be defined by USAID/Colombia. This requires designing a methodology that includes different measurement scales and various intervals for the collection of information.
Given the above, the MEL Activity requires the hiring of an Administrative Specialist to support logístical matters for field work, support in the purchase of materials and learning events, and dissemination of findings. He/she will also provide guidance and support to the consulting team on administrative issues.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Support the administrative, financial, logístical, communication and acquisition activities needed for the implementation of the initiatives carried out by the MEL Activity of USAID and the guidelines received from the supervision.
- Manage the information of the research project and other initiatives according to the guidelines provided by the Supervision.
- Be familiar with the administrative and security protocols pre-established by MEL Activity for fieldwork.
- Ensure that the consulting team follows the administrative rules for fieldwork.
- Coordinate the safety recommendations meeting with the consultant team.
- Coordinate and process travel requests with the administrative area.
- Support the consultant team with regard to administrative processes.
- Support the logístical organization of learning events and dissemination of findings.
- All other duties as assigned by the supervision.

**Requirements**:
- Professional in business administration, industrial engineering or similar.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting logístical and administrative issues.
- Experience in the area of human resources is desirable.
- Previous experience with USAID/Colombia implementing partners is desirable.
- English and Spanish written and oral fluency.
