Collections Clerk

**_Job Description_**

GP Transco, a leader in the transportation industry in Chicago, Illinois, is looking for a dependable person to join our rapidly growing company. We are seeking to fill the position of Collections Specialist. The position is responsible for various accounting functions and serve as the link between the company's financial department and external clients.

**_General Duties: _**
- Monitors accounts receivable aging to ensure that payments are up to date
- Rebills customers as needed from our TMS (Transportation Management System)
- Inputs basic data to Sage (Financial Management System)
- Resolves payment issues with brokers

**_Qualifications: _**
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues using critical thinking skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Sage or other financial management systems knowledge is a plus
- Trucking industry preferred

Monday 7:30 am - 5pm
Tuesday 7:30 am - 5pm
Wednesday 7:30 am - 5pm
Thursday 7:30 am - 5pm
Friday 7:30 am - 5pm

**Salary**: From $3,000,000 per month

**Experience**:

- accounts receivable: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English at C1 level of better (required)
