**Responsibilities**

  • Lead a team of banking operations professionals in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to banking operations.
  • Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as compliance and internal audit, to ensure a coordinated approach to risk management.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on risk management issues and best practices.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes related to risk management in banking operations.
  • Drive a culture of risk awareness and compliance within the team and across the organization.

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, PRM) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 9 months of experience in risk management within the banking industry, with a focus on operations.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, including payments, settlements, and transaction processing.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and recommend effective solutions.
  • Proven track record of implementing risk management policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
