Ensures fiduciary risks are managed and addressed through the Country HSE & Security Board meetings; maintains functional leadership, expertise, and supports in HSE for an assigned country or cluster of countries. If delegated by the Country Holding Officer (CHO), represents ABB externally in the area of HSE when in contact with customers, local authorities, and other stakeholders.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Safety and Integrity. Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with the company's policies and procedures and are in compliance with health and safety guidelines for our engineering and service departments.
- Designs, plans, coordinates, and facilitates programs about employee health and safety instructions regulatory, compliance and incident protection and prevention that will allow the company to deliver a consistent safety message, build a greater safety awareness and encourage safe work behaviors throughout the organization.
- Participate in new projects/services reviews including process hazard analyses to guide proposal team while presales stage and engineering teams while executing projects.
- Prepares reports including observations, analysis and recommendations for control and correction of hazards.
- Record, maintain and lead required documents for our local HSE management system (“Sistema de Gestion”).

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Risk Prevention and Environmental Engineering or Industrial Engineering (or related) with additional formal education / degree in HSE - Health Safety & Environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45000 and ISO 14001 standards.
- 6 years of experience in similar positions.
- Previous experience as leadership.
- Availability to travel.
- Intermediate - advanced English level.
