Location: Bogota, Columbia

Summary:
Genesys is seeking a qualified professional to fill the role of Associate Proposal Manager II.

What You’ll Do:
In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Deliver competitive, high-quality proposals to Genesys prospects and customers.
- Strong project management/coordination experience with a focus on organization of mid-complexity data under very limited time frames.
- Oversee, plan, facilitate and manage the RFP Life Cycle from kickoff to submission, including analysis of requirements and strategy development, product discussion, risk assessment/mitigation, and development of the Genesys value proposition specific to the requirements of prospects.
- Analyze and assess mild to mid-complexity RFPs with an eye towards creating a comprehensive proposal plan.
- Interface cross functionally with corporate, local and regional team members to assemble response team and proposal response strategy.
- Integrate content contributions from disparate authors to create cohesive proposals.
- Ensure all projects meet scheduling requirements and company quality standards.
- Assist with maintaining appropriate content and that it is captured in the RFP response database.
- Support the provision of general company, finance and care content for responses where appropriate.
- Follow corporate style guides to ensure a global consistent look and feel for proposal technical writing.

About You:

- You must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in English, Journalism, Communications, Management, Social Services, or other related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with developing professional, consistent proposals for distribution to customers; and analyzing and managing complex RFP logistics.
- Language: English (written and spoken)
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to manage and collaboratively work cross functionally with high performance internal teams in high pressure situations, i.e. sales, solution consulting, legal, finance, product management, product marketing, etc.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, organized and possess excellent writing skills.
- Must have positive, problem-solving attitude and good judgment prioritizing workload in fast paced environment, with an ability to work multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be a team player, also able to self-start and work independently.
- Excellent judgment, confident and comfortable, with a strong work ethic.
- Exceptional writing and language skills with a focus on proposal writing.
- Strong business writing and formatting skills with experience in communicating solutions and concepts through diverse methods such as text, graphics, tables, and lists.
- Experience in design, layout, and production of quality documents to meet customer specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Including complex formatting, multiple data formats, and different computer platforms: Adobe Acrobat Pro, etc.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Exposure to/familiarity with RFP management software (RFPIO).
- Experience with managing proposals for contact center software or telecommunications companies.
- Graphics experience.
