ABOUT THE TEAM:
The team is currently in growth mode and will consist of (1) DevOps Director and (3) DevOps/CloudOps engineers of different experience levels supporting the development and infrastructure of the IMS product and it’s userbase.
WHAT YOUâLL DO:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall administration and management of growing hybrid and pure cloud solutions. (Azure, AWS)
- Deploy and design cloud computing services such as IaaS, SaaS and PaaS
- Implemented high availability cloud deployment models of both Microsoft Windows and Linux infrastructures.
- Monitoring and review of infrastructure on an active basis to assure best practices and uptime SLAs are met.
- Creation of pipelines with TFS, Azure DevOps, and/or Jenkins.
- Creation and enforcement of security policies to CIS standards.
- Support development teams in technical questions of continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Document infrastructure and mentor other engineers of best practices for security, uptime, and continue team improvement.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
**Skills/Qualifications (Strong Expertise In At Least 2/3rd Of the Following)**:
- Fluent written and spoken English
- AWS and/or Azure infrastructure including Virtual Network, Compute, Security, Access
- 8+ years of Windows and Linux administration
- CI/CD including Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Jenkins, build agents, automation scripts
- In-depth knowledge of Linux specifically CentOS/RedHat including system, services, users, networking, security, etc.
- Strong expertise in setting up securing, managing, and monitoring CentOS/RedHat 7 servers
- Strong scripting skills including Bash, Python, Go, PowerShell, and/or another scripting/programming languages
- Hands on experience with one or more major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Cloud Formation, Terraform, Packer
- Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, Service Discovery, and Autoscaling
- SCM tools, processes, and best practices, including Git
- TLS, SSH, Security Certificates, GPG, encryption, networking, and security
- Backups and restores, disaster recovery, and high availability
- Repository manager, yum repos, Docker registry
