The Team and Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Information Technology team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the IT team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional cloud infrastructure engineers. This person will support the maintenance and operations of secure and highly available computing platforms, servers (primarily Azure and limited on-premises), networks, and phone systems.

The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of deployment and release of new technologies but also knowledge of design, install, configure, test, and maintenance of servers, networks, operating systems, telephony systems, and related utilities and hardware.

Job Responsibilities
- Maintain, monitor, and support infrastructure environments and data center facilities.
- Work with project teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Act as technical liaison between operations teams and developers to provide insight into upcoming implementations and strategies including validation of ongoing solutions supportability.
- Work across teams to ensure IT system upgrades, deployments and maintenance are conducted with mínimal impact to the operation.
- Participate in short
- and long-term planning efforts with management.
- Participate in design, implementation, and execution of backup and disaster recovery.
- Monitor production, outputs, and services to ensure SLAs and other metrics are met.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher with 12+ years of experience working in general technology and Azure cloud infrastructure management.
- English Proficiency: Full Fluency / Completely Bilingual/ C1 level.
- Strong expertise with Azure infrastructure **(**extensive knowledge of Azure/BICEP).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong network, computing, and system management skills.
- Strong experience in establishing and ongoing management of cloud environment.
- Conversant in information technology infrastructure processes, procedures, and roles.
- Extensive knowledge of computing support roles, including security administration, service desk, and operating system support.
- Experience in planning and assisting in the ongoing establishment and movement of systems and technologies from on-premises to the public cloud.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in any of the following areas:

- Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
- Microsoft365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
- Teams Administrator Associate (MS-700)
- M365 Enterprise Admin (MS-100/101)

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications
- This position has regular office hours, but you must be able to be on call or work weekends or nights as needed.
- Travel requirements: Limited to none.
