As a Customer Service Supervisor, you will lead team members providing tactical and technical support, adjusting and recommend enhancements in systems and day-to-day department processes. This position is based in Bogotá, working on a remote model.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.**
- Represent company to both external and internal customers, answer product-related questions, traces lost shipments
- Interpret and clarify customer orders for the shipping department, takes orders or registrations, and connect customers to appropriate support
- Manage web-based ordering or registrations, collaborate with management on customer credits, returns goods for credit, address quality assurance complaints, and handle price discrepancies on mail orders
- Approve stock allocation for items in short supply, as well as special price quotations, bids, pricing allowances, deductions and adjustments
- Oversee inventory management at customer facilities using EDI (electronic data interchange), forecasting, replenishment and inventory systems, focus on addressing stock and allocation challenges to optimize service levels
**Required Knowledge and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in customer service, managing operations and process execution
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written communication skills
