A Creative Technologist is a cross-disciplinary person that bridges between a design vision and engineering execution, using experimentation to solve problems in new and novel ways. They Combines technical expertise with human-centered design to prototype and implement innovative solutions. Creative technologists blend expertise in code, hardware, and emerging technologies to bring ideas to life.

As a Creative Technologist at Kyndryl Vital Colombia you will take ownership of design workstreams—leading the development of design documentation, system flows, and interactive prototypes that address customer needs. You’ll work directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams to define design requirements and technical approaches, translating vision into user-centric solutions that align with business goals.

You’ll be hands-on in building high-fidelity web or mobile prototypes using frameworks like React, Vue, or Flutter, and may integrate cloud functions, sensors, or AI services to explore emerging possibilities. You’ll mentor junior team members, provide feedback on prototypes or code, and elevate the team’s technical and creative capabilities.

You’ll lead design and prototype review sessions, confidently advocating for experience quality while balancing stakeholder input and implementation feasibility. You’ll work closely with engineering and product leads to embed design thinking into delivery frameworks—ensuring insights from prototyping inform product roadmaps. Through rapid iteration and testing, you’ll refine solutions that are both innovative and executable.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**

**Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise**
- 6-7 years of experience in creative technology, innovation lab, or related roles. You have a track record of projects where you took ideas from concept to prototype to implementation in some form.
- A mix of enterprise and agency experience, demonstrating you can handle corporate-scale projects with structure as well as more agile, creative projects.
- Solid understanding of IT systems, cloud services, or enterprise software integration - you know how to consider existing systems in your prototypes or how to prototype in a way that aligns with larger IT architectures.
