**What success looks like in this role**:
A non-technical student attached to Unisys for a period of time such as a summer intern or co-op student.
- Recognition & Benefits- Help coordinate wellness program events/activities such as walking challenges, physical fitness classes, etc.
- Support project implementations - coordinating with external vendors and internal stakeholders
- Invoicing and reconciliation of benefits and recognition related payments
- Research and resolve retirement plan administration errors (401(k) and defined benefits)
- Support general reporting functions
- Provide updates to process and other documents
- Review and update content on the dedicated Benefits page, SharePoint site and benefits enrollment platform(s)
- Monitor and manage general benefit questions
- Support the work alongside Legal, Accounting, Payroll, Finance and Tax to ensure programs comply with corporate requirements
- Compensation- Support the salary survey administration - salary survey participation
- Assist with job evaluations
- Coordinate and provide consultation in Job Architecture related projects and contribute to enhancing descriptions of job families
- Assist in the review of internal compensation policy and procedure resources, training materials and educational resources
- Help support compensation compliance audits
- Assisting with data reconciliation, updating and reporting of compensation information
- Analyze and interpret associate compensation data and identify gaps and trends
- Conduct country level compensation competitive assessments & labor market analysis
- Guide projects through multiple interim steps, completing work fully and on schedule
- Document rewards processes and guidelines and maintain team SharePoint
**You will be successful in this role if you have**:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university to obtain a Bachelor’s degree; concentration in Human Resource Management or related field preferred and have a GPA of 3.0 or above. Rising Juniors or Seniors
- Major in insurance, finance, statistics, economics, business or health policy
- Previous Human Resources internship experience, including compensation and benefits (health, welfare and retirement), preferably in a multinational environment (can we require this? I suggest deleting)
- Ability to multi-task and manage diverse work priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to identify problems and solutions
- Ability to create reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail and ability to use data to tell the story
- Working in a fast-paced environment
