SD Solutions is looking for a talented **Legal Tech & Data Specialist** to step onto a fintech unicorn rocketship

As a Legal Tech & Data Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the legal department's technology platforms while leveraging data analytics and classification to drive efficiency and compliance. This position requires a unique blend of skills to oversee both the tech stack and data functions, ensuring seamless implementations and integrations, effective data management, and insightful reporting.

**Responsibilities**:
Legal Technology Management
- Serve as the primary administrator and expert for the legal department’s technology platforms, including intake, matter management, document management, contract repository, privacy & data management, and GenAI tools.
- Assist with system implementations and integrations, ensuring alignment with business and legal needs.
- Manage user access and permissions, and provide training for legal tech platforms.
- Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with vendors to ensure optimal system performance.

Data Management, Analytics & Reporting
- Partner with internal teams to understand requirements and develop reporting and visualization dashboards.
- Work with internal data teams to connect legal data with existing Power BI resources, facilitating access and insights for the legal department.
- Analyze platform data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with data mapping and classification activities, utilizing privacy and data management software to ensure proper data governance and compliance.
- Work closely with various internal cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Support Legal Operations
- Leverage technology platforms to enhance data-driven decision-making and process improvements within the legal department.
- Assist with intake processes, including assignment of requests to the appropriate resources, ensuring efficient and effective handling of legal matters.
- Support the legal team with special projects where needed.

**Requirements**:
**5+ years of relevant experience**, including 2+ as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Systems Administrator, Technology Manager or similar discipline, and/or 2+ years in Legal Operations or related experience in a corporate support department or law firm.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with experience in data reporting, visualization and dashboard creation.

Strong understanding of system development, implementation, and maintenance, including the ability to manage and optimize no-code platforms.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions without traditional coding.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with legal, IT, operations, and external vendors.
- Proficiency in Excel.

Knowledge of APIs and integrations.
- Basic understanding of legal processes and workflows.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to supporting a high-growth corporate environment.

**Advantages**:
Proficiency in Power BI.
- Experience administering and managing tech platforms, with legal-specific platforms being a plus.
