Principal Software Engineer

**Location: Remote - Colombia**

Join our dynamic team at GoDaddy as a Principal Engineer and take on a leadership role in designing and implementing our cutting-edge machine learning services. With a focus on innovation, you will drive the development of advanced technology that revolutionizes our hosting of LLMs (large language models) and provides scalable solutions for our millions of customers. In this role, you will collaborate with renowned tools such as OpenAI, AWS Bedrocks, and Azure AI, pushing the boundaries of what is possible. You will also have the opportunity to lead the development of our Feature Store infrastructure and join forces with AWS to pioneer the most advanced services, including the next generation of SageMaker Studio, SageMaker Model Registry, DataZone, and MLFlow. **What you'll get to do**
- Designing and expanding machine learning services, such as large language model hosting service.
- Collaborate on a high impact, mission-driven Scrum team.
- Participate in DevOps, release, and on-call activities in support of your code.
- Contribute to technology working groups and internal open source.

**Your experience should include**
- 8+ years of experience in developing and deploying production software.
- Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with building APIs - RESTful APIs, Web Services with strong understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in modern Backend programming languages (Java, Python and/or TypeScript / JavaScript).
- Experience with CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.
- Strong drive to learn, grow, and help engineers to do the same.

**You might also have...**
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree, with excellent computer science fundamentals.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, Large Language Models, Generative AI, Langchain, Transformer models or related.
- Good understanding of end-to-end machine learning services, toolings/systems.
- Expertise in operationalizing, monitoring, and scaling machine learning models and pipelines in cloud ecosystems.
- Experience with entitlement and IAM policy.
- Experience with AKS, EKS, Rancher
- Experience in A/B testing platforms.
- Experience in an Agile software development environment.
