Scope: Full-time | Office: Colombia - Peru - Ecuador | Remote
**How a day to day would look like in this role**:
Conduct consulting engagements with clients to assess compliance between acquired licenses and installed software.- Analyze software contracts and subscriptions, identifying improvement opportunities, risks, and providing actionable recommendations.- Perform IT environment health checks (DX) and deliver executive-level reports.- Advise on vendor audits and support clients in defending their contractual positions.- Implement or enhance IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategies, including policies, processes, and tools.- Support FinOps initiatives by providing financial visibility and cost control for cloud consumption.- Deliver awareness workshops on FinOps principles and software licensing.- Utilize specialized tools such as Snow Software, Flexera, ServiceNow, MAP Toolkit, SCCM, AIT, among others.- Collaborate with global teams (e.g., Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago), sharing insights and reports in English.
What we need to see from you:
**Profile**:Professional with experience in Software Asset Management (ITAM), specialized in consulting for enterprise clients on licensing compliance, contract optimization, and vendor audit defense. Strong knowledge of Microsoft licensing (preferred), with the ability to operate in multivendor environments (Flexera, Snow, Oracle, IBM, Adobe, etc.) considered a plus.**:
Proven experience in analyzing software and hardware environments, reviewing contracts, identifying financial risks related to over
- or under-licensing, and supporting cost-saving strategies, digital transformation, and operational efficiency for large organizations.
**Required Skills**:
- Proven experience in Software Asset Management (SAM/ITAM)- Background in internal audit, management consulting, or technical presales- Practical knowledge of Microsoft licensing (e.g., Windows Server, Office 365)- Ability to interpret installed environments versus contractual entitlements- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas)- Basic understanding of virtualization environments- Strong skills in contractual and financial analysis- Familiarity with inventory and assessment tools: MAP Toolkit, Flexera, Snow Software, ServiceNow- Knowledge of client-side tools such as Aranda, Lansweeper, Ivanti- Intermediate English proficiency (oral and written)
**Desired Skills**:
- Power BI for dashboards and executive reporting- ITIL v4 certification- ISO/IEC 19770-1 (ITAM) certification- Certifications from major vendors: Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe, etc.- Foundational understanding of the FinOps Framework and cloud cost optimization practices
