Since its founding in 1992, the Center's game-changing litigation and advocacy, combined with its unparalleled expertise in constitutional, comparative, and international human rights law, have transformed how reproductive rights are understood by courts, governments, and human rights bodies worldwide on issues including maternal health, contraception, abortion, and assisted reproduction. It has won groundbreaking cases before national courts, U.N. Committees, and regional human rights bodies, led the development of historic, proactive legislation advancing robust protections for reproductive rights, and has built the legal capacity of women's rights advocates in more than 60 countries and counting. **The Role**: Are you an exceptionally talented, driven HR person and looking to join an organization that is making a difference to our global societies? The Center for Reproductive Rights seeks a skilled and versatile Human Resources Manager for the Latin America and Caribbean Region to provide day-to-day HR support in the implementation of human resource policies, procedures, and ensure smooth HR operations in the CRR Colombia office. You will provide a full HR employee life-cycle service to all of the Colombia Office employees as a first point of contact for all HR enquiries. This role will also collaborate closely with the rest of the Human Resources Department on global HR initiatives that help us implement our "One Global HR" framework. This role will report directly to the Senior Director, Human Resources and will have dotted reporting line to the Associate Director, Global Operations, Latin America and the Caribbean. This position will be based in the Center's Bogota office. **About You**: - You will be able to work on own initiative with support from your manager and to demonstrate the ability to solve unexpected or new problems in a methodical, efficient manner. - You have leadership qualities and able to be a strong business partner to the leadership team in Colombia. - You consider confidentiality and emotional intelligence to be key attributes of your personality. - You are highly organized and have a good attention to detail, as well as ability to prioritize. - You will role model and champion the Centers' culture, and will partner with Team leads to champion staff engagement programs in the actualization of the Center's DEI principles and policies; - You are able to learn new skills and expand current skill set and to be able to pass on knowledge and techniques to others. - You are able to deal with conflicting demands and work flexibly. - You have excellent computer skills that will aid accurate and efficient data recording, processing, and reporting**.** **Primary Responsibilities**: HR Generalist - In collaboration with the Senior Director of HR you will develop the key HR strategy for the LAC region. - Responsible for processing payroll for Colombia-based employees, including liaising with the local payroll firm on matters related to new hires or payroll changes. - Responsible for enrolling all new hires with the relevant social benefit organizations, and any other benefits, and administering benefits on a regular basis. - Assist with employee safety and welfare initiatives. - Work with the global HR team members to establish and maintain the Global Employee Handbook per local labor standards and Global HR standards. - Ensure local employees and consultants are properly onboarded and provided with the appropriate training. - Full responsibility to ensure contracts for our long-term consultants are renewed on a timely basis and all required paperwork is maintained. - Respond to general queries from managers and employees, signposting them to the appropriate policies and procedures. - Active role in employee well-b
