**PYTHON DEVELOPER (AI/Agent Platform)**

We are hiring an experienced Python Developer to join our team in Medellín, Colombia.

**Who we are** At Allogy, we build innovative systems leveraging AI and learning science to empower organizations in educating and training vast, distributed audiences. Our intelligent agent platform, built on AWS GovCloud with LangGraph and proprietary models, is already supporting several high-profile pilots. We’re rapidly scaling development to transition the platform into production, enabling clients to harness the power of intelligent agents effectively and securely.

**Who You Are and What You’ll Do**As a Python Developer, you'll collaborate closely with our team here in Medellin, and receive support from the US-based Product Team, Principal Architect, and CTO. Your primary responsibility will be to accelerate the development of our AI-driven intelligent agent platform, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance for production environments. You’ll contribute significantly to architectural decisions and implement best practices in Python-based AI software engineering.

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years professional Python development experience.
- Familiarity with AI development frameworks, specifically LangGraph or similar.
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Competence in using PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Excellent version control.
- Familiarity with collaborative project management tools like Jira or Notion.
- Ability to rapidly adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a committed team player.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior development experience in AI or agent-based systems.
- Familiarity with front-end integration points and technologies.
- Background in Agile development processes.

**Bonus Points**:

- Understanding of advanced AI concepts, including RAG architectures and agentic systems.
- Participation in AI-related open-source projects or communities.

We hold our daily standups and other team meetings via Zoom. While all employees set their own work schedule, everyone commits to being available for scheduled department and team meetings and to coordinating with their team when planning time off.

**Salary Range: COP $**20,010,000.00/month - $26,689,170.00/month
